Arts Performance Fund
Powering the Future of the Arts in Indianapolis
Every performance at The Butler Arts & Events Center invests in the future of our city’s creative community. With the Arts Performance Fund, $1 from every ticket sold is set aside to support local arts organizations across Indianapolis. This innovative model transforms live performances into long-term investment, ensuring that the arts don’t just thrive on our stages, but throughout our entire community.
Strengthening Indianapolis’ Creative Ecosystem
Arts organizations today face rising costs, changing audience behaviors, and increasing demand for accessibility. The Arts Performance Fund is designed to meet this moment.
By creating a sustainable, shared source of funding, the Butler Arts & Events Center is helping to:
-
Expand access to the arts for more patrons
-
Support local artists and organizations
-
Ensure creative work continues to grow across Central Indiana
A New Model for a Modern Arts Center
The Arts Performance Fund is part of Butler University’s broader vision to reimagine its role in Indianapolis.
Through initiatives like the Midtown Arts District and the Gateway Project, Butler is creating a more connected, accessible arts environment- one that reflects and serves the entire Indianapolis community.
“The arts are essential to the vitality of a community. This fund is one more way we can support that impact- not only on our campus, but across Indianapolis.” – President James Danko
Because the Arts Belong to Everyone
This fund isn’t just about sustaining performances- it’s about expanding who gets to experience them.
It’s about:
-
Making the arts more accessible
-
Supporting a vibrant cultural community
-
Ensuring creativity remains a defining part of Indianapolis
When you give, you’re not just supporting Butler- you’re supporting the entire Indy arts ecosystem.
