Full-length musicals that are approved by the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (Jimmy’s) are eligible. Broadway Junior, KIDS, and TYA shows are not eligible.

Each school may submit up to 2 nominees (1 Actor, 1 Actress) based on the Jimmy’s Qualifying Roles list before your show opens. At the conclusion of your production, you must submit a recording of your nominee(s) performing in their nominated role. All submissions will be viewed by an adjudicator panel, and of the submissions 12 students (6 Actor nominees, 6 Actress nominees) will be invited to the Butler Arts Awards Tech Week.

One school will be awarded the Outstanding Student Production Crew Award. This award will be adjudicated by a separate group of adjudicators with production expertise. If you would like your school to be considered for this award, self-identify on your registration from. To qualify for the award, your crew must be at least 75% students (3:1 ratio of students to adults).
