We welcome adult string musicians (violin, viola, cello, bass) with at least one year of experience to join us for a fun musical experience. Participants will explore chamber music, large ensemble playing, and effective practice techniques to enhance their skills. This program offers a fulfilling way to conclude your summer while connecting with fellow musicians.

Camp Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM
Register by May 15, 2026.
Tuition & Deposit:
- Program tuition is $300.
- A $25 non-refundable deposit is required at checkout to reserve your spot. This amount is applied toward your total tuition.
- The remaining balance is due May 18, 2026, unless you are on an approved flexible payment plan. All payment plan balances must be paid at least 14 days before camp begins.

- Department Cancellation: If the department cancels a camp session, you will receive a full refund.
- 30+ Days Before Camp: Full refund minus the $25 deposit.
- 14–29 Days Before Camp: 50% refund of the amount paid, minus the $25 deposit.
- Fewer Than 14 Days Before Camp: No refunds will be issued.
- Camp sessions are not prorated for vacation, illness, or missed days.
Shannon M. Crow is a graduate of Butler University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Ms. Crow has been teaching private violin and viola lessons for over 20 years, and has extensive experience teaching students from 4 years to 80 years of age. Currently she conducts Orchestra B and the Parent Orchestra of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, as well as teaches private lessons. At the Butler Community Arts School, Shannon founded and directs the Adult Strings Ensembles, the Butler Children’s Orchestra, Butler Youth Orchestra and Butler Strings Camp, as well as teaches private violin and viola lessons. When not teaching private lessons, Ms. Crow has partnered with the VA in research and in supporting our veterans through music; and is an avid performer in local orchestras and for private events.
