Join the Kent Hickey Quintet as they explore the songbook or one of the most prolific composers/pianists/bandleaders in jazz – the great Horace Silver! The quintet will play a variety of songs and styles from Silver’s songbook covering tunes from many of his most popular and lesser-known recordings. This performance will feature Kent on the trumpet, Evan Drybread on tenor saxophone, Gary Walters on piano, Thomas Brinkley on bass, and Chelsea Hughey on drums.
