    Join us for this season’s opening Butler Symphony Orchestra concert on October 12 at 3pm in the Schrott Center for the Arts. The concert begins with Leonard Bernstein’s Overture to Candide followed by the world premiere of Richard Auldon Clark’s From the Hearts of Women for soprano and string orchestra, featuring Butler alumna Chloe Boelter. Saxophonist and Butler faculty member Matthew Pivec performs the world premiere of Frank Glover’s Concerto for Saxophone with the grand finale being Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5. Richard Auldon Clark conducts these talented artists in a brilliant performance of new works and familiar classics!
