    Join the Butler University Chorale, Spectra, Chamber Singers, and the Butler Symphony Orchestra for an evening of inspiring music including Britten’s Cantata Misericordium (composed for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Red Cross in the UK, this is a setting of the Parable of the Good Samaritan that asks “who is my neighbor?”); Vaughan Williams’ Toward the Unknown Region (text by Walt Whitman); Rimsky-Korsakov’s Russian Easter Overture; and featuring the School of Music’s Concerto Competition winner Patrick Thordsen performing Emmanuel Séjourné’s Marimba Concerto.
